Fiat90
Step-BY-Step

Fiat90 Preparation

  • Choose an Anchor — someone you will check in with regularly, pray with, and keep each other accountable.

  • Get your Booklet.

  • Choose when your group would like to start. A common start date is 90 days before Easter Sunday (this year starting January 5th).

  • Pray and discern which of the disciplines you will do (find them here).

  • Join/Form a small group with other women in your community and set up a schedule for weekly or bi-weekly meetings that works best for everyone.

  • Pray and discern who God is calling you to pray for over the next 90 days (Spiritual Adoption)

  • Schedule out a routine that you will use on the 1st day. Adapt and change this routine as needed throughout the 90 days.

Daily Pillars (every day for 90 days)

Adapt daily structure/routine as needed:

  • Prayer & Spiritual Reading — (30 minutes)

    • Morning or evening: Provided Daily Scripture Passage/Spiritual Reading/Intentional Prayer Time

  • Anchor Check-in — (1–3 minutes)

    • Quick message or short call to share praise/struggle of the day.

  • Practice Daily Disciplines

    • Limit these daily distractions as much as you can, to allow yourself to fully enter into this time of intentional prayer.

  •  Small sacrifice/kindness

    • A silent act of kindness, prayer and/or sacrifice for your Spiritual Adoptee.

  • Examen/Reflection
    • Journal daily reflections, how God is showing up in your life and where you want to ask God for the graces to persevere.

Weekly Rhythm

  • Weekly/Bi-weekly Small Group Meeting — (45–60 minutes)

    • deeper conversation, pray together, sharing wins and struggles, etc. This can be done virtually if needed.

  • Attend Daily Mass/Eucharistic Adoration

    • These two practices alone will provide you the graces to persevere and be transformed during this time.

Adaptation & Mercy

  • FIAT90 is principled, not legalistic. Please adjust fasting and disciplines for pregnancy, medical needs, age, or vocation as needed.

  • Missed days are not failures — recommit and move forward. The aim is steady growth, not perfection.

No, Fiat90 is about progress, not perfection. The aim is to grow in faith and reliance on God, not to achieve a checklist.

Struggles are a natural part of Fiat90. Use these moments as an opportunity to pray, seek grace, and rely on your Anchor. Growth comes through perseverance.

FIAT90 is rooted in Catholic Marian devotion, but women from other Christian backgrounds who resonate with the practice are welcome.

Absolutely. Those with medical conditions or dietary needs can adjust fasting to suit their health. Fasting is about detaching from excess, not endangering health.

Fasting can look like choosing not to have a snack in the afternoon, or saying no to a sweet treat.

Please do not risk your health to partake in the typical “requirements” for fasting. There are other forms of fasting other than food (ex. technology, television, complaining, gossiping etc.)

Not at all! Fiat90 is designed for anyone seeking to deepen her faith, regardless of her starting point. The program encourages personal spiritual growth at any stage.
